Your Body Is Acidic: What You Need to Do (Unveiling the Truth About Cancer)
If you're not yet familiar with him, Dr. Otto H. Warburg is a name you'll soon be curious about. The son of physicist Emil Warburg, he was a German physiologist, medical doctor, and Nobel laureate. He received the Nobel Prize for his discovery that cancer cells are characterized by low oxygen levels, and he elucidated how oxidation is involved in the metabolism of tumors.

The Nobel Prize Committee noted, "He has demonstrated, among other findings, that cancer cells can live and grow even without oxygen."

Given that oxygen is essential for all life, the ability of cancer cells to survive without it is indeed baffling. Dr. Warburg explained this phenomenon as follows:
Your Body Is Acidic: What You Need to Do (Unveiling the Truth About Cancer)

“Tumour cells obtain the energy required for their existence in two ways: by respiration [a process that requires oxygen] and by fermentation [an anaerobic process]. In respiration, they burn organic materials to carbon dioxide and water; in fermentation, they split glucose to lactic acid”

Cancer cells fundamentally flourish in an acidic environment, where substances like carbon dioxide and lactic acid are prevalent. In conditions where oxygen is scarce, the presence of tumors prompts the protein CHCHD4 to initiate the release of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF). This protein complex encourages the formation of blood vessels surrounding the tumor and facilitates tumor migration.

“Summarized in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar. All normal body cells meet their energy needs by respiration of oxygen, whereas cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part by fermentation. All normal body cells are thus obligate aerobes, whereas all cancer cells are partial anaerobes.” Warburg explained.

So what Warburg discovered was that cancer cells were low in oxygen due to a change in cellular respiration from using oxygen to using fermentation of sugar.

Why Are Cancer Cells Low In Oxygen

Cancer Cells Low In Oxygen
The primary reason cancer cells may be low in oxygen is because they switch from using oxygen for respiration to a more primitive form of respiration that utilizes sugar. It is the cancer process itself that causes the oxygen deficiency, not the other way around.

Dr. Warburg observed that tumors he studied all behaved similarly and suggested that to destroy tumor cells, one must halt both respiration and fermentation.

Since tumor cells can derive energy from two sources, merely depriving them of glucose may not always be effective.

Dr. Warburg later believed that most diseases, including cancer, were likely caused by pollution exposure. He theorized that prolonged exposure to toxins, coupled with cells lacking proper nutrition, oxygen, hydration, and cleansing, could be a leading cause of cancer.

This situation may trigger a cellular defense mechanism, causing cells to revert to a primitive respiration form (sugar fermentation), proliferate, resist death, and create a protective barrier. Consequently, cancer cells begin to consume less oxygen, and as they grow, the body's overall acidity increases.

Typically, when individuals are first diagnosed with cancer, their pH levels are near normal, but as the cancer advances, the body's acidity level rises.

The Acid-Alkaline Balance

Acid-Alkaline Balance
Cancer is believed to foster an acidic environment within the body, and one approach to combat this is by promoting a more alkaline bodily state. Foods that are acidic, such as dairy, red meat, refined grains, and sugars, are thought to contribute to higher cancer rates and mortality.

These foods may lead to a condition known as acidosis, where body fluids and tissues become excessively acidic, potentially resulting in diseases like multiple sclerosis, high cholesterol, arrhythmia, immunodeficiency disorders, osteoporosis, lethargy, cancer, chronic illness, heart disease, and diabetes.

Many have found that choosing alkaline foods and adhering to a diet rich in whole, raw, plant-based foods can aid in recovering from various health issues. Consuming ample water (up to 4 liters daily), ensuring sufficient sleep (8-9 hours per night), and engaging in stress-reducing activities such as gentle stretching, meditation, and mindful breathing can also enhance overall well-being.

Additionally, a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda may also contribute to the body's alkalization.

Your pancreas produces baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate, to neutralize excess stomach acid. Some individuals believe they have cured their cancer by consuming baking soda.

Although lemons are acidic, their metabolization in the body is thought to make them highly alkalinizing.

To make this drink, simply mix:

– Two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice or organic apple cider vinegar

– One-third to one-half teaspoon of baking soda

Add the baking soda to a tall glass, followed by the lemon juice or vinegar. Once the fizzing stops, pour in about 8 ounces of water and drink the mixture on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, daily for optimal results.

  1. I have been taking lemon Juice and Bicarbonate of soda for years, I am now 72 and in Excellent health, in fact I cannot even remember the last time I was ever ill, apart from Migraine attacks when I was a young 20 year old, caused by massive stress.
