Michigan Couple Finally Welcomes A Baby Girl After Having 14 Boys
After fourteen sons, a Michigan couple has finally welcomed their baby girl, Maggie Jayne! Each family member holds equal importance, and the birth of a child is always a cause for celebration. Yet, this Michigan family had an extra special reason to rejoice with the arrival of a healthy new baby girl — she is the first daughter after nearly three decades and fourteen sons!

The delightful Maggie Jayne weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was named in honor of both parents: 'Maggie' is derived from Margaret, her mother’s middle name, and 'Jayne' is a variation of her father’s name.

The couple's romance began in their college days, as freshmen at Gaylord High School and Gaylord St. Mary’s. They became an official family in 1993, and their first three sons were born before they completed their college education.

The excited dad said:
“We are overjoyed and beyond excited to add Maggie Jayne to our family. This year has been memorable in so many ways, for so many reasons, but Maggie is the greatest gift we could ever imagine.”
No one anticipated the arrival of a girl after 14 boys. The brothers, Tyler, Zach, Drew, Brandon, Tommy, Vinny, Calvin, Gabe, Wesley, Charlie, Luke, Tucker, Francisco, and Finley, were all excited to welcome their first sister.

Throughout the years, the family often made headlines with each new birth, with a particular focus on the gender of the newborn.

Now, they certainly need to consider renaming their live-streaming TV show, formerly known as "14 Outdoorsmen"!

Tyler, the eldest at 28, who is engaged and has his own place, acknowledged that the family was undoubtedly taken aback by the surprise:
“I don’t even know if my mom owns any pink clothing — or anything.”

He even joked that his brothers would need quite some time to adjust to having a girl in the house, especially when it comes to remembering to put the toilet seat down!

The father of fifteen children had previously explained that they never chose to find out the baby's gender before birth, mentioning that his sons relished the surprise.

Yet now, he is certain:
“I have said, steadfastly, that we are done having children. But I have been reminded that I said the exact same thing after Tucker (who’s now 4). And after Francisco. It just feels like we’re done.”
Yet, the proud mother simply enjoys her home filled with kids, adding that if they didn’t love their “full-house” style of life, they “ wouldn’t have continued to have this many children.”
