Living her passion, Belinda Sol, a photographer from Texas, dedicates her time to capturing the tender moments of newborns and their mothers. One day, she received an unexpected call from a woman named Mona, who requested a photo shoot. Little did Sol know, this shoot would be unlike any other.
Mona had contacted Sol to capture the elegance of Mia, her pregnant dachshund. The resulting photographs were, undoubtedly, some of the most exquisite canine portraits ever captured.
“I had never done [a dog shoot] before, and I was excited to do so,” Belinda said of the big challenge. “I went and made her a maternity dress, purchased some props especially for her, and made our appointment.”
The father was present as well. Mia acted like a true model, being the well-trained dog she was. The puppy found it difficult to move around due to her significantly large belly.
Sol posted some of her photographs on Facebook, and they quickly became a sensation. The comments section overflowed with praise for the awesome mom. In response, Sol arranged another photoshoot with Mia and her six little ones.
