Golfer Jeff Jones captured footage of a huge alligator marching across a Florida golf course before disappearing into a nearby lake. Golfing is thrilling in itself, but the excitement Jeff Jones experienced at Valencia Golf and Country Club in Naples was unparalleled! Online viewers were astounded by the video of the enormous gator he encountered making its way across the Florida golf course.

As Hurricane Eta passed through, the golfer recorded the immense creature ambling over the fairway before plunging into a lake close by.

In the terrifying video, one golfer can be heard:

‘Holy …This guy out for a stroll -- oh, my God!’

Online viewers were alarmed by footage of a massive alligator trudging across a Florida golf course.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission estimates the region's alligator population to be around 1.3 million, with the largest one ever caught measuring an astonishing 17.4 feet in length! The alligator shown in the video is also exceptionally large, sparking a flurry of questions online.

Alex Hoffman commented, "That is Godzilla, not a gator."

Josh Helmuth concurred, describing it not as a gator but as a "walking, living dinosaur."

A lifelong Floridian confessed to having seen many alligators, but "never one that big," with a tail that "must weigh 100 pounds."

Indeed, these alligators can reach enormous sizes, with the record for the largest one captured in Florida standing at a remarkable 17.4 feet.

The length of its legs has puzzled many, while others have noted that alligators adopt a high walk for long distances. However, they are usually observed in a crawling posture, which is preferred for short-distance travel.

Some users joked about the huge creature not wearing a mask during the pandemic, and one added:

‘Where is he going? Mar-A-Lago is the other way.’

Joking aside, the sight must have been a real-time horror!
